Frequently asked questions
How many bags are in a bakkie load? 20 bags.
How many pieces are in a bag? We don't count pieces. Bags are weighed by the kilogram because piece sizes vary.
Is your wood dry? Yes. We make test fires throughout three months before packing. The two special loads are semi-dry and priced lower because they need time to finish drying.
Do you sell loose wood? No. All our wood comes bagged, ready to deliver and offload.
How do I pay? EFT or cash on delivery.
Which wood gives the most for the money? For fireplaces, Black Wattle: it burns long and still makes coals. For braais, Sekelbos or Swarthaak, because one fire lasts longer.
